Boer Goats

The Boer herd at Champion Livestock was started in the fall of 2009 when Robyn bought her first Boer, Lola, as a companion for her first dairy goat, Lilly.

She found that she enjoyed producing a second 4-H/FFA market animal in addition to hogs, and so she started to expand her herd. The herd expanded through the purchase of does from several different local breeders, and the first buck was purchased in April of 2013. Our operation has nearly 25 breeding does now for fullblood, purebred and percentage production.

All of our Boer goats have been bred. Reservations are now being accepted. A reservation of $200 will guarantee a reserved kid from the price range of your choice. Prices may be adjusted as the kids grow and mature. To see what kids will be born this year, please visit the breeding schedule.
